Mrs Bowden’s class started off their first Active Maths lesson with some very interesting gift bags. Pupils had the opportunity to select a bag and investigate it’s contents. One contained socks which had to be put in order on the washing line, one involved wrapping different sized shapes and another challenged them to host a  tea party with a mixture of bowls and cups. What an exciting way of introducing maths into everyday tasks!
