From the moment Ewen, Cat and Michael the Producer arrived, until the moment they left the building, Castlehill was in a state of great excitement.

It all began when our visitors were warmly greeted at the front door and given the “red carpet” treatment by pupils. Special mention was made of the wonderful banner which Mrs Chisholm and the Breakfast Club had made, just for the occasion.

After being introduced to all the kitchen staff,  Catering Manager Mrs McCafferty made sure everyone had clean hands and was fully kitted out for their kitchen duties.  Following some ” slaving over a hot stove”, pupils and staff were served their lunch at the hatch, personally by Ewen and enjoyed a bit of banter with him as they made their way through the line.  Service was a little it slower than usual, but we all forgave him as it was his first (and only) day!

Overall, the visit was a wonderful experience  for Castlehill and most certainly,  a day to remember.
