Pupils from Mrs Kent’s class together with pupils from Mrs Dodds’ class, travelled to the Riverside Museum yesterday, in relation to their next IDL theme of Transport.
Everyone had a wonderful day exploring the Tall Ship, old tram cars, subway trains and horse-drawn vehicles. We were very fortunate with the weather and enjoyed eating our lunch outside on the picnic tables.
Later in the afternoon, pupils participated in a workshop which investigated various forms of travel in more detail. Some pupils even got the chance to sit in a Sinclair C5 car and were amazed to hear that this was designed to be driven on motorways.
A great day out was had by all.
