Our Assembly was again led by Mrs Daye and this time the chosen sporting topic was Baseball. She explained that although it is not a very popular sport here, it is America’s favourite pastime. Following a presentation on what equipment was needed to play, the classes were set different challenges. Some had to match team names to their logos or their home stadiums. Others had to create a team name for themselves. Some great names came to light , such as the Castlehill Redcoats and the Castlehill Cadets. It was great to learn about a sport which we were not very familiar with.
This week, we celebrated our Confident Individuals and Effective Contributors. Congratulations to our award winners.
