In Primary 5/6/7 and Primary 5/6/7 C, we  have been learning about the Victorians for ourI.D.L.(Topic). In small groups, we made a Victoria sponge and also some gruel. We all enjoyed making and tasting the sponge cake but most of us disliked the gruel! The gruel was thin and watery and tasted salty.We are all glad that we do not have to  eat it every day like poor Victorian children did.
