On Wednesday afternoon, Miss Purdon’s  Primary 1/2/3 class presented at an Assembly of the whole school. The topic they had been studying was Transport  and the display on stage included lots of their classroom artwork.

 

  The pupils entertained us with songs such as “Early in the Morning” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and recited poems including “There was an old man in a boat”, “I’m a little aeroplane” and “The Train”. The audience watched a PowerPoint presentation showing photographs of their work in class and a video clip on a boat experiment they had carried out. They dazzled us with the many facts they had learned about the topic and impressed us all with their confidence on stage.
