WEDNESDAY 21ST DECEMBER – CHRISTMAS THEME “DRESS DOWN” DAY On Wednesday 21st December, staff and pupils can come to school wearing Christmas themed items e.g. jumpers, toy antlers, socks for £1.00. for charity. CHURCH SERVICE The Church Service will take place on Thursday 22nd December. The charity collection this year will be for ‘Shelter’.

Pippa the Guide Dog Pup Visits Coltness High School
Coltness High School raised £251.70 on Thursday 8th December by holding a Guide Dog Christmas fundraising stall in the library. The school has been supporting Guide Dogs Scotland for several years and this event has taken our total to a fantastic £2043.40. Thank you to staff who made items and to those who were great sales ladies too. A special ‘thank you’ to Pippa the guide dog puppy and puppy walkers Margaret, Ann and Bobby. Book Week Scotland Winners
Congratulations to the winners of the Book Week Scotland competitions we held last week to celebrate this annual event in Scotland. The girls were the winners of ‘Write a Story in Six Words’ competition and the Book Character Paris Quiz. Well done to both girls and thank you to the pupils and teachers who participated. Coltness High School Celebrates ‘Book Week Scotland’
Miss McAndrew with some of her pupils who entered the ‘Tell a Story in Six Words Competition’. There was also a Book Character Pairs quiz with many of our teachers wearing book characters badges all week!
