Well done to the Coltness High community for raising so much money for the hospice. The next hospice event takes place on Sunday 17th September for S4-S6 pupils. The 6k run/walk is at Strathclyde Park, with pupils meeting at the boathouse at 9.30am. All entry forms must be returned to the school office by Friday 8th September. Congratulations to the ‘Weird and Wonderful Places to Get Caught Reading’ competition winner Abbey and runner-up Ryan, both 1L2. Abbey’s weird place to get caught reading was during a bungee jump and Ryan’s weird place was reading under the sea! This is an annual competition for P7 pupils’ coming to Coltness High. Annual Voter Registration Canvass 2017

The Annual Voter Registration Canvass is underway, and residents in Lanarkshire are asked to ensure that they complete the Household Enquiry Forms (HEF) sent to each household. Residents will need to complete this form and return it as soon as possible to ensure that they will remain on the electoral register and are able to vote in any future elections. The return of the form will also save on local authority money as the Electoral Registration Officer is required by law to send a canvasser to households who do not return the form.
