A reminder that Tempest Photography will be in school on Monday 23rd October to take official photographs of our new S1 and current S4 pupils. Pupils to make sure they look super smart that day!

John Simmons

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the unexpected death of former Principal Teacher John Simmons. John had been Principal Teacher of Technical here from 2003 until August 2014 when he left to take up a Faculty Head position of Technologies at St Andrews High School in Coatbridge. Having recently retired John was then helping out by covering a Maternity Leave at Braidhurst. John was a very bubbly and friendly individual who always had a smile on his face. He’ll be sadly missed by all who knew him at Coltness and the wider North Lanarkshire educational community. Our thoughts at this time are not only with John’s loved ones but the Braidhurst High School Community.
