I am writing to inform you of price changes to the school meals service from 15th April 2019. The meal price will increase from: Primary School – Currently £2.00 will change to £2.10 for 2 courses and a drink Secondary School – Currently £2.05 will change to £2.15 for 2 courses and a drink. For the last 2 years the school meal price has been held at £2.00 and £2.05 respectively. In comparing prices across other local authorities based on 2018/19 figures North Lanarkshire Council were the 5th cheapest for the cost of a primary school 2 course lunch with drink and 6th cheapest for a secondary school 2 course lunch with drink. In increasing the school meal price we will still remain
All Art and Design pupils have their final submissions straight after the Easter Holidays. To assist in this, Art and Design teachers are offering access to support and resources this Saturday 23rd March in the Art and Design Department from 9am – 12.45pm. Assistance will also be available all of the 3 days of Easter School. This is all in addition to existing support and access to resources that is already available after school hours, during lunch breaks or during teacher non-teaching periods. Mr Johnston.

Congratulations to this young man who did very well at the LTSI South East England Open Championships. He came 4th in the patterns and Captained the Junior Pattern Team to win the Gold!
These are the proposed school holidays for session 2020/2021. I would ask you to note that these are draft proposals and are subject to consultation until Friday 15 March 2019. As you will be aware there has been a lot of information in the media about the Momo challenge and the potential dangers it poses to young people. Although there has been some recent information that the Momo Challenge may be a hoax, it is still important that the school and parents reinforce online safety to our children and young people. Any S3 pupil interested in doing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award should come to a meeting at the start of lunchtime on Tuesday 5th March in Mr Miller’s room (Science 5). Bring a packed lunch. See you there! Mr Miller, Miss Jones and Mr McInally

It’s that time of year again when the 3rd year ASDAN pupils start their Easter fundraising for Guide Dogs. The chocolate filled knitted Easter Chicks are also on sale NOW in the library for £1.00 and the ASDAN pupils will be coming round the classes soon. Happy Fundraising!
