Water Safety
Each summer Scottish Water runs a water safety campaign to encourage everyone to stay safe around water. Reservoirs, rivers and lochs can be popular places for visitors and we want everyone to enjoy them safely. A big part of our social media campaign this year has focused on educating people about the risks of swimming and diving into reservoirs – there are lots of hidden dangers like underwater machinery, strong currents and deep, cold water. One Parent Families Scotland has been delivering services for parents across North Lanarkshire for over 13 years. Our staff team have been working hard to ensure we can continue to support families with the services that they need during the Coronavirus outbreak, both in terms of practical services and, importantly, in terms of being able to access those services.
