GOOD TEACHING & LEARNING ALERTS We are encouraged to ask for help, do our best and not give up. MADE4UINML2 – VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR S3 – S6 Made4UinML2 have following volunteer opportunities available for young people. Regular volunteering could earn you a Saltire award or count towards other awards e.g. the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Zumbatomic Tuesdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the Made4U Centre. The group is led by qualified Zumba instructor Lynsey McCallum for P1 to P7’s. The role would involve supporting Lynsey by encouraging the children by joining in, monitoring behaviour and serving juice & biscuits. After School Club Wednesdays 3.30pm-4.30pm in the Made4U Centre. The group is led by Made4U staff and adult volunteers. Youth volunteers would be expected to join in

S1 CYBERBULLYING EVENT This will take place on Thursday 26th October in the hall during periods 1 and 2 for all S1 pupils. PINK FRIDAY FOR BREAST CANCER Pink Ribbons will be on sale this week with the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care Scotland. They will cost £1 each. GOOD TEACHING & LEARNING ALERTS We take pride in our work and our new school building. S1 AND S4 PHOTOGRAPHS Tempest Photography will be in school on Monday 23rd October for official S1 and S4 photographs. DRESS DOWN DAY – FRIDAY 6TH OCTOBER On Friday there will be a ‘come as you please day’ to raise money for the National Autistic Society to support Mr Johnston’s bid to run the London marathon. Pupils and staff will be asked to donate £1 for being able to dress down for the day, with senior pupils coming around classes during period 1 to collect money. There will also be a raffle prize draw for an Amazon Fire 7 tablet. Raffle tickets will be £1. Seniors will
