Online Session – Thursday 29 October, 7pm – 9pm

If you have a child (aged 0-16) who struggles with processing sensory stimuli, this workshop could help you support your child. This session is for parent carers of children with additional needs (with or without a diagnosis) who have sensory processing differences (unusual reactions to stimuli such as light, sound, touch, smell, taste etc).

The aim of this session is to help parents of children who may have emerging needs, to help them manage how they process and react to sensory stimuli.

This online workshop will cover the 8 senses and:

  • How we receive, process and use sensory input
  • Sensory processing differences
  • Self-regulation and co-regulation
  • Strategies relating to daily tasks
  • Where to find further help and support
