LANGUAGE PUPIL OF THE MONTH

During the Month of September the focus for winning Pupil of the Month will be Focus in class. Are you working hard & making your best effort with all your work? Are you paying attention and offering answers to your teacher/class. If you are – it could be you! Good Luck!

BARCELONA TRIP

All pupils in S3-6 who are interested in taking part in a trip to Barcelona in June 2018, please pay £100 on Ipay/Mrs Smith by the end of September to secure a place.

CELEBRATING LANGUAGES FOR LIFE & WORK

The Modern Language department have a lot of exciting things happening this week! We have speakers and presenters coming in to talk to all S1-S3 pupils about languages and their relevance in the working world. We are also doing tasters in Spanish, Italian, Arabic, & Mandarin, as well as doing some fun and exciting things in classes. The canteen will also be putting on some European dishes to celebrate European day of languages, and S4 pupils will also be selling Language Love bands for £1 at lunchtime in the buddy booths! Please make our guests feel welcome & all staff are welcome to visit us too!

‘NOVEMBER LIGHTS’

The band ‘November Lights’ will be coming to school on Friday 13th October for a concert 12:45pm – 1:15pm for Seniors. Ticket details to follow.
