BARCELONA TRIP

Pupils can now begin paying the remainder of the balance due for the Barcelona trip. Next instalment is £120 to Mrs Smith by the 21st November.

PUPIL OF THE MONTH

Modern Languages are celebrating all young linguists from S1-S3. Every month each teacher will select one pupil from their S1-S3 classes to be their ‘Pupil of the Month’. Each month will focus on a different aspect of being a successful linguist/language learner. The ‘Pupil of the Month’ for September was won by – Aimee Kemp 1S2, Jamie Fuller 3A1, Anna Carty 1S1, Jack Allan 3L1. The focus for October will be Homework – making a good effort to complete all homework, doing homework – handing it in on time,
asking teacher for help before the due date, presentation, getting it signed from someone at home.

SUPPORTED STUDY

  • Spanish Nat 5 & Higher every Thursday 3.45pm – 6.00pm in ML3
  • French Nat 5 & Higher every Wednesday 2.55pm – 3.45pm in ML3

PINK THURSDAY!

On Thursday 13th October, there will be a Pink Thursday, where pink lemonade and cakes will be sold at the morning interval and all proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Care Scotland. Remember to bring money for that. Pupils will  also be selling Pink Ribbon badges from Monday 10th October, priced at £1.

DRESS DOWN DAY

On Friday 14th October, there is a Dress Down Day where you will be given the opportunity to pay £1 to dress in casual clothing – but NOT football colours. The money for this will also go to Breast Cancer Care Scotland.
