As a parent/ guardian of a pupil who is about to make the first important career decision around subject choice, you may have many questions and be unsure about how you can help your child make the right choices.
This isn’t always easy, but it is important! Research has shown that your role as No1 influencer on your child’s future career choices means that it is vital that you have answers to the questions you might have about the opportunities that are open to your child in their future.
Working in partnership with your school, Skills Development Scotland would like to invite you along to an interactive information evening about the World of Work and all the many choices that your child has within this.
On the night you will have the chance to meet with Kirsty Byrne your schools Careers Adviser and to sign up to the resources that Skills Development Scotland have on hand to help you support your child to make the choices that are right for them.
We would therefore like to extend a warm invitation for you to join us on Thursday 14th January 2016 at 6.30pm (until approx.. 7.45/8pm) at Coltness High School.
Looking forward to seeing you all then!
