School Uniform

Update: Due to European Parliament Elections we have rearranged for Miyo Apparel to sell uniform items on Monday, 20th May, 2019 from 7-8pm.

School Blazer with Badge and Braiding (Senior pupils)	from	£42.00
Junior School ties (S1 – S3)		£6.00
Senior School ties (S4 – S6)		£6.50
School Sweatshirts (with badge)	from	£12.50

These items will be available to purchase or order in the Tuck Shop area of the school.

Please note that there will be a 10% discount offered on purchases made on 20th May 2019.

Orders can be collected from Miyo Apparel, 77 Manse Road, Motherwell, ML1 2PW from Monday 12^th August 2019.

We keep a stock of items of uniform to be used as and when required. If you have anything we could ‘recycle’ we would appreciate it if you could hand it into the school.

At Braidhurst we are proud of the achievements of our pupils and our school and all work extremely hard to ensure our young people experience positive wellbeing, attainment and employability outcomes to enable them to successfully fulfill their role in society by moving onto a positive destination.

SUPPORTING ST ANDREW’S HOSPICE

Braidhurst High School were delighted to present a cheque for £3000 to St Andrew’s Hospice which has been raised by staff and pupils over the last couple of years. Their generosity and hard work was much appreciated by the hospice.

Notes for pupils

It is your responsibility to;

Check the timetable and highlight which exams you are going to sit.
If there are any exams on at the same time then see Miss Anderson.
When you are not in an exam you will follow your normal timetable, bring all necessary equipment (books, jotters, PE kit etc). There is no study leave.
Register as normal then report to the exam room.
Leave bags and jackets at the side of the exam room.
Ensure you have the necessary equipment; pens, pencils, ruler, rubbers, calculators etc.
Ensure all electronic devices including mobiles are switched off and away from your desk.

POWER OF YET WORKSHOPS

The school recently ran a series of ‘Power of Yet’ workshops delivered by ‘Live n Learn’ to our S2 pupils. ‘Live n Learn’ are a team of specialist presenters who focus on the development of young minds through a mantra of contrast improvement. The ‘Power of Yet’ sessions are very valuable as they raise aspirations, help pupils embrace struggle, teach them to cope with setbacks and give them the impetus to believe in themselves.
