The school’s U14 boys’ football team were recently in action against Calderside Academy in the latest round of the Lanarkshire Cup. The boys came from a goal down to win the match 3-1. Well done boys on your performance and for showing some great team spirit to clinch the win.

SPORTING SUCCESSES
The school recently achieved a hat trick of sporting successes, with the S3-4 netball team comfortably winning their game against Coltness High School, whilst the U16 boy’s football team were in action in the Lanarkshire Cup beating Our Lady’s High School in Motherwell, and the U18 boy’s football team won on penalties in their Scottish Cup match against Graeme High School. Well done to all the players and coaches for their tremendous effort and success.
PUPILS –v- STAFF DODGEBALL GAME
The annual pupil vs. staff dodgeball game took place on Friday 29th November with the staff team winning the match. Congratulations to all of the players.
NETBALL SUCCESS
The school’s North Lanarkshire Open and S1 Netball teams both achieved great victories on Thursday 21st November in their matches against Dalziel High School. During the matches both teams gave brilliant performance and displayed great etiquette throughout. Players of the Matches were: Ariana Necula, Milly Holmes, Eve Nicholson and Lauryn Buddy.
S1 BASKETBALL
The S1 basketball team were in action on Wednesday 30th October against Caldervale High School and after a tremendous effort on the court won their match.
FOOTBALL SUCCESS
Congratulations to Kieran Offord and Kyle Semple who featured in the U17 Scottish team in their Victory Shield match against Ireland on Monday 28th October. Both boys played very well with Kieran scoring two fantastic goals to ensure Scotland’s win.
U15 GIRLS FOOTBALL
Our U15 girls’ football squad were in action on Monday 28th October in a first round tie against Lornshill Academy in Alloa. The final score was 0-1 to Braidhurst with a fantastic goal from Shannon Morgan fifteen minutes from the final whistle. Well done girls on a fantastic result and Mia Buchanan was awarded Person of the Match.
