The school are delighted to recognise the fantastic achievement of S1 pupil Anna Bondar who is a talented athlete who specialises in the shot put. Not only did Anna recently achieve a personal best in the event she is now the proud title holder of top distance thrown in Scotland in her age category. This is a fantastic achievement and all at the school want to wish her the very best for her future with his event. Well done Anna!

S3 FITNESS SUITE INDUCTION
On Thursday 29th April a group of luck S3 pupils received an induction into the school’s brand new fitness suite. The S5 PE Life Skills class led the induction which offered them an opportunity to enhance their inter-personal skills whilst ensuring that the S3 pupils will remain safe whilst using this fantastic resource.
Mental Health Ambassador Applications
Applications are now open to current S5 pupils to be a Mental Health Ambassador. A form can be collected from Miss Lyttle and should be returned by Monday 10th May. See the video below for a bit more info on what is involved….
SCHOOL OF NETBALL
Congratulations to the following pupils: Ariana Necula, Milly Holmes, Katie Weir, Ellen Mwamba, Chase Dymond, Megan Johnson, Kelsie Nesbit, Evie Watson, Lucy Hamilton, Kori Kane, Rokas Matuzas, Kiera Richards, Kelsie Williams, Jamie-Lynn Stevenson, Aiman Khan, Andrea Ilie, Bekki McCahon, who have all been selected for the Braidhurst School of Netball. Pupils are timetabled for two double periods of netball practice in the P.E department and will soon be competing in their first games. Well done to the successful candidates.
