Summer Placement application deadline extended
Salary now added £8 per hour
North Lanarkshire council have extended their deadline for their summer placement applications; the deadline is now this Sunday the 22nd of February. You can apply if you are 16 on or before the 22nd of June. You need to be able to commit to 5 out of the 6 weeks however for clerical roles they may look at 4 weeks commitment and you DO NOT need to be leaving school as it is over the summer.

Invigilator/ Chief Invigilator recruitment 2026
Invigilator recruitment 2026
We are currently recruiting invigilators for the 2026 exams. Invigilators play a crucial role in supporting the exam diet. Their role is to help maintain the quality of the external assessments of National Qualifications by ensuring they are conducted in accordance with Qualification Scotland policy and procedure.
In addition, we are looking to recruit a Chief Invigilator to oversee exams. Qualifications Scotland will provide training to the person taking on this role.
All invigilation activities are carried out under the direction of a chief invigilator. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is required. You will also be supported by your chief invigilator throughout.
