Braidhurst Under 15’s run in the Scottish Cup came to a cruel end on Thursday evening as they were edged out on penalties away to St. Ninian’s High School in Kirkintilloch. The visitors had dominated the game and deservedly led thanks to a well-taken goal from Dylan Morrow. However, they failed to further their advantage and missed chances would come back to haunt them. The hosts equalised from a free kick in the dying seconds of the match and they then went on to win on penalties 4-1. Mr Clarke and Mr O’Toole were bitterly disappointed with the outcome but proud of the team’s efforts. They now turn their attention to the Lanarkshire Cup where they hope to go one better than last year and win it.
