St Andrew’s Hospice

Fifth year pupil Emma Ewart and Rachel Daniels raised money by selling Christmas items such as badges and Christmas cards at intervals and lunchtime in the school foyer.   Emma made A3 posters with colourful tinsel to advertise the prices and the money went to St Andrew’s Hospice.   We have raised over £1000 so far and our target is £2000 through the organisation of many other events which we realise will make a substantial difference to peoples’ lives.   The Charity Committee also proposed the idea of a dress-down day which took place on the 30th of November.   Pupils paid £1 towards the St Andrew’s Hospice Fund, and donated food which was used to make up Christmas Hampers.
