GERMANY TRIP

A group of 40 pupils from S1-S6 in Braidhurst High School will depart for German on Saturday 18th June, accompanied by 5 members of staff   The pupils will travel by coach from Motherwell to Hull, where they will take the overnight ferry to Zeebrugge in Belgium.   They will visit the beautiful city of Bruges and the lively theme park of Bobbejaanland in Belgium, before heading for Boppard in the Rhineland.

 

Other activities the pupils will engage in during their stay will be an ascent of the Vierseenblick mountains by chairlift, a visit to a vineyard, a visit to the famous Sport and Olympic Museum and Lindt Chocolate Factory in Cologne, a cruise on the River Rhine and a day spent at the German Theme Park, Fantasialand, as well as bowling and shopping, of course!   This will be the fifth Braidhurst school trip to Germany and it is a very popular destination, as pupils can practise their German language skills and discover the rich and varied culture of the country.   All concerned are counting the days until they leave!
