Braidhurst High Photography student Scott Grant has been awarded a commendation in the recent My Place photo competition.

This is a built environment photo project run by the Scottish Civic Trust.   It aims to provide young people with the opportunity to express their thoughts and experiences on the heritage and buildings around them.   Scott is extremely pleased to have this recognition and will pick up his award later in March at the Lighthouse Centre for Design and Architecture in Glasgow.   His [photography teacher, Mr Duncan Chisholm is also very pleased with his success in this national competition as it keeps up the tradition of Braidhurst’s very high level of achievement in Higher Photography.
