This session has proven extremely difficult in terms of selecting the Academic Dux pupil with a host of very able fifth year students all sitting 5 Higher Grades. After a great deal of work the school has decided to award joint Dux to Azar Khan and Mark Coletta. Both will receive the David Colville Gold Medal at Prizegiving on Thursday 27th June. The Rector Mr Derrick Hannan said, “I have never known such a difficult selection process which is great credit to the high quality of a very able group of fifth year students. Azar and Mark have really done exceptionally well in achieving such high standards. The staff and fellow students are delighted at this decision and I personally congratulate them both.
