A QR code is similar to a barcode. When you scan it using your phone or tablet then you will get the option to open an internet page. The QR codes we have included will take you to a photo of that area of the school.
For many phones and tablets if you open the camera option and hold it over the QR code on this sheet then it will then pop up with an internet page. Click on it and it will take you to that photo.
Scan a QR code with your iPhone, iPad, iPod or Android device
- Open the Camera app from the Home screen, Control Centre or Lock screen.
- Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder in the Camera app. Your device recognises the QR code and shows a notification.
- Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code.
If you are using an Android phone or tablet (e.g. Samsung, Huawei, Google) and the camera function doesn’t work then go to the Play Store to download a free QR code reader app.
