Welcome back P6/7. It’s our final term altogether before the P7s depart and we gain a shiny new P7. We’ve an exciting term ahead between our Scottish Opera performance and Loch Insh (P7).

Talking of Scottish Opera… It is that time of year again. This year we’re doing ‘The Legend of Slim McBride and The Lost Tribe’. It’s going to be an excellent link to our ‘Biodiversity and Sustainability’ topic.

Our Aim

Children will prepare for and organise a Summer Ecological Garden Party for the Lochardil community. At the garden party learners aim to: sell vegetables which they’ve grown in the garden, have summer snacks, sell eco-themed art work, and present on the work they’ve done in biodiversity and sustainability.

Our sub-topics and questions

‘We Go Eco’ What can we do to make our school more ecological?   ‘Here, There, Everywhere’ If we do something here, how can we have an impact globally? ‘Plant Attack’ When planting, what factors do we need to consider?  The skills we want to develop
