We have been very busy this week getting our video ready for our friends atΒ Melville International School in New Zealand. After spending the week filming, we spent this afternoon editing the video. The class have put in a fantastic amount of effort, and we hope that we’ve managed to answer the questions that Elizabeth from Melville International asked us . . . Watch our video below:
Just to let you know – Mr O’Parka still isn’t feeling well, so will not be here on Monday.
We’d like to thank all the parents and carers who helped in Swimming Group A – that is their slot of swimming finished now.
We hope you have a great weekend,
Mr.Cook, Mrs.MacLeod and Mrs.Prentice

Thank you, Melville Intermediate School, for all your kind comments.
We’re really glad that you enjoyed our video. We break for Summer on the 28th of June, but would be happy to help you with any further research.
Haggis is a speciality food – we don’t eat it all too regularly. Normally only on Burns’ Night on the 25th of January (and sometimes at other celebrations).
However you can order it some restaurants – normally with neeps (turnip) and tatties (potatoes).

As you may have seen from your class page we had a viewing session this morning and watched your video from start to finsih with our entire class viewing it. There were some highlights for our students – we didn\’t know about the Bagpipes not being Scottish (even our teacher didn\’t know that). We loved seeing your lunches, hearing about Haggis, the Thistle and Flower of Scotland. Our students loved it and were spell bound. Your accents caused a little bit for smiles and laughter, although I am sure that if you heard our students speak that you have had the same reaction. Mr Webb is going to go to a Scottish shop which is in town to see if he can buy some Iron Bru to taste it, he suggested we taste Haggis but we are not really keen at the moment. Thank you so much for your collaboration, its been brilliant.
