Rights are everywhere at St Francis’!
At St Francis’, children’s rights are part of everyday school life.
From learning in our classrooms and playing with friends to feeling safe, included and cared for, the UNCRC can be seen in so many different parts of our school day.
As we continue our journey towards Gold, we are learning to recognise how rights are experienced every day and how they help make St Francis’ a happy, welcoming and respectful place for everyone.

Every day at St Francis’ is full of opportunities to learn, explore, discover and develop our talents.
Article 28: Right to Education
Every child has the right to an education.
Article 29: Goals of Education
Education should help children develop their talents and abilities and encourage respect for human rights and for others.
🎨 The Right to Play and Be Creative
School life is about much more than sitting at a desk!
Whether we are playing, creating, performing, exploring or enjoying time with friends, these experiences help us learn, develop and have fun together.
Article 31: Leisure, Play and Culture
Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in cultural and creative activities.

At St Francis’, we work together to create an environment where pupils feel secure, cared for and able to learn and grow.

Children have the right to be protected from violence, abuse and harm.

We celebrate what makes each of us unique and work to make sure everyone feels welcomed, valued and part of our St Francis’ community.
