Welcome to P3B/4A

We have had another busy term in Primary 3/4. In Literacy we have been learning about different techniques authors use to make their writing more interesting like Metaphors and similes. We have also been focusing on the difference between fact and opinion and using this when writing persuasively and writing a balanced argument.

In Maths we have been using our knowledge of place value from last term in our addition, subtraction and money topics. We have explored different strategies to help us solve problems. We have also been learning about Fractions.

Our Health and Wellbeing focus has been on travel safety this term. We have been exploring how our bodies can move in different ways in gymnastics and dance this term too. We look forward to performing our Scottish dancing at our Christmas Party.

Our Science topic this term has been sound. We have been learning about vibrations and sound waves and examples of this in our environment. We have enjoyed taking part in some sound experiments.
