Today we were lucky to have Leon from British Red Cross visit us. He gave us some insight into emergency situations and helped us build our confidence in how to deal with them. We really enjoyed the first aid training we received. Thank you Leon!
We had the best day in!
Fun Day Monday!
We are super excited for our fun day in!
The Blitz
Today in class we learned about scale and proportion. We used our learning to interpret maps.
We then made spitfire models and calculated the scale of our model to the original size of the aircraft.
We found it to be a ratio of 1cm : 61cm.
The blitz has started in P7a!
Fun Day In 🎈🍿🥤🥳
Primary 7 looked at different options on a fun day out and worked out all the costs involved. 💰 💴
There were lots of amazing ideas but after much deliberation we have decided to have a fun day in instead. 🎈
This will take place on Monday 9th December, where the children will be having a fun filled day in. 🥳
On this day the children are welcome to bring in comfy pyjamas or onesies to change into. They have chosen to build dens for their movie morning so are welcome to bring in blankets and pillows too. ⛺ 🥤 🍿
They will not need lunch on this day as we are ordering pizzas for lunch. 🍕
To round off the fun day, we have booked a DJ for the afternoon. 🎧 🎵
We are hoping to have some spare change to keep for another day and donate some money to charity.
Watch this space for photos. 🤗
Project Homework Due in 13th December
To round off 2019’s homework we are going to be undertaking a 2 week homework project on The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
Have fun and enjoy!

We’re Ready! Bring it on!
Primary 7 have been little elves and working hard at Santa’s Workshop . We are super excited to welcome all our lovely families to our Christmas Fayre during our open classrooms at 2pm tomorrow.
Children are welcome to bring in some pocket money if they would like to take part in some of the different activities or buy any of the products. Thank you in anticipation!
P7 Christmas Fayre Adverts
We were busy making adverts for our P7 Christmas Fayre today. We used emotive and persuasive language with a memorable slogan. There are lots of special offers to look out for. We hope to see you during the open classrooms on Friday afternoon.
We are ready, are you?
