This weekend I went to an antique fair and I bought this helmet.
It is a British helmet from the Korean War.  😊

My February weekend  was very inactive. This was the case because I was trying to rest up my knee and the weather was pretty poor as well. Of course, the only thing I’ve wanted for the last few months was snow, and it comes the week I’m injured leading me to not be able to go out and play and have fun!
However, some friends made that frown turn upside down, by playing with me on Xbox and coming round to my house for a few laughs!😂
We were very lucky to be invited to Calderwood Lodge Primary School to learn more about the Holocaust. We met some wonderful people with real life stories of the Kinder Transport and Auschwitz.
It was a very harrowing experience.
Today we used our Chromebooks to research words around us that are French. We were blown away by how many there actually are!

What a busy start we have had to term 2! With our auditions complete, our school show Aladdin rehearsals are well and truly underway.
We met our pupil groups last week, where we were taking the lead role in the running of the group. Here is a photo of the School Ground Keepers.
Last Friday we also began our Super Skills, where we were learning some of the skills within Expressive Arts.
This week we started our Learning Partners with younger pupils and we have really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them. Look out on our school Twitter page for photographs.
What an amazing afternoon! A huge THANK YOU to our fabulous families for coming to our P7 Christmas Fayre and contributing to the success.
We have made a profit of over £1000!
The children worked so hard and we are so proud. Looking forward to planning our fun day out.
Thank you once again!
Primary 7 have been little elves and working hard at Santa’s Workshop . We are super excited to welcome all our lovely families to our Christmas Fayre during our open classrooms at 2pm tomorrow.
Children are welcome to bring in some pocket money if they would like to take part in some of the different activities or buy any of the products. Thank you in anticipation!
We were busy making adverts for our P7 Christmas Fayre today. We used emotive and persuasive language with a memorable slogan. There are lots of special offers to look out for. We hope to see you during the open classrooms on Friday afternoon.
We are ready, are you?
