Special Last Christmas at Kirkhill Primary

Primary 7 is zooming past so fast, we really do want time to SLOW down!

As our final Christmas at Kirkhill Primary School fast approaches, we thought it would be a lovely treat to decorate our school Christmas tree with our own personalised baubles or hanging decorations.

This week as well as working through your Kindness Advent and Enterprise homework, you are invited to make a decoration to hang on our school Christmas tree.  🙂

A Letter For Parents

Attached is a letter about our open classroom on Friday.

Hope to see you all there!

P7 Enterprise Open Classroom

Battle of Dunkirk

This afternoon we used I pads to research about the battle of Dunkirk as part of our learning on WWII. We used this information to make a cartoon strip of the events that took place at that time.

Mini Debates

This morning we engaged in a mini debate in preparation for our Lord Provost debate.

The motion was: Primary 7 should get to sit benches on at assembly.

Money Advice Scotland

Today we had a special guest from Money Advice Scotland visit our classroom. She told us all about budgeting and we used this knowledge to plan a party for 20 people. We also took part in a money quiz!

Masterclasses

We started our P7 Masterclasses today and were using our numeracy skills to plan a holiday for a family of 4. We were able to understand and explain the importance of budgeting when planning a holiday . We compared costs and choose what to purchase within our £800 budget!
