Good team effort from the Primary 6/7 badminton team who went along to Eastwood High to play some friendlies last night.  We will be starting a lunchtime club after Easter as the standard is so high!  Well done to Mary, Ashley, Carly, Mia, Adam, Dylan, Max and Cameron. Keep up the training for the next competition!

Last week some eager primary 6/7s tried out for the badminton team for  Uplawmoor Primary School. Our active schools co-ordinater made the decision of who was in the team.  The team members were, four girls and four boys. Girls team = Amy who played ladies singles, Annabelle who played mixed doubles with Dylan, Lauren who played doubles with Ashley and Ashley who played doubles with Lauren.

Boys Team= Josh who was the boys singles, Dylan who played mixed doubles with Annabelle, Adam who played doubles with Cameron and Cameron who played doubles with Adam.

Overall we came 3rd out of seven schools. The seven different schools that were there were Uplawmoor, Eaglesham, Cross Athurly, OLM, Gifnock, Netherlee and St Thomas’.  Well done to OLM who came first!
