Primary 1-5 welcomed two firefighters from Barrhead fire station who spoke about fire safety.    We learned about the equipment which is stored in different compartments of a fire engine.  We also learned about the protective clothing firemen wear and how they use special oxygen cylinders to help them breathe in smokey conditions.
