As you know, we are keen to get children into the savings habit, so last year we linked up with NDT to provide children a monthly saving opportunity to the East Renfrewshire Credit Union. Tomorrow, they will be coming in to set up or collect savings from our pupils during assembly. If you would like your child to open a savings account with ER Credit Union, please send in £1 or more to start them off. If your child has already opened an account and would like to add to their savings, please send them in with their money tomorrow, Friday 2nd December.
The collections will be monthly so children can get in the habit of saving some pocket money over the weeks in between collections. Even more exciting is that savers will benefit from their savings being boosted by 25p for every pound up to the first £20 saved!
