ERC School Travel Survey
The Parent Council have been involved in the initial stages of the development project by the ERC Roads department to look at school travel. Equalities Forum 16th May
The final Equalities Forum of the school year will be held in the Woodfarm High School Contemplation Room at 7pm on Thursday 16th May.
The forum will showcase the work that Woodfarm High School have taken forward to promote racial and religious diversity within their school community. A presentation will be led by Fiona Johnston, Depute Head Teacher, with contributions from pupils and partner agencies.
All parents/carers welcome.

Celebration of the Sacraments – Reminder
Just a reminder that the Mass of Enrolment will take place on Sunday 10th March in St. Cadoc’s Church and children should sit with their parents during the 10 o’clock Mass. All children intending to receive the Sacraments this year should participate in this ceremony.
The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be celebrated in St. Cadoc’s Church on Monday 11th March at 7pm. The children will sit together as a group and will receive individual Confession and absolution during the service.
St Ninian’s High School Lenten Service
St Ninian’s High School Lenten Service will take place at 4.00pm on Tuesday 12 March 2019 in the School.
The Service will be led by Fr Stephen Baillie and will include
the Rosary and some time for Lenten Meditation with the
Blessed Sacrament.
All pupils, staff, parents, families and friends of St Ninian’s
and the local Primary Schools are welcome.

Christmas Events
We really hope you have been enjoying all the Christmas events in school this past week. This afternoon we have the Primary 7’s preforming Christmas songs for their families and tonight is the P3 Nativity Play at Newton Mearns Baptist Church.
Tomorrow our Advent collection is tins and dried foods for distribution by a local food bank. It’s also Christmas Jumper day so please wear a festive top to school.
Thank you so much for your donations of hats, gloves and scarves for the homeless.
P1 Applications January 2019
Changes to Primary 1 Applications
For children due to start school in August 2019, you must make your application via the new online system in January 2019. The exact dates this form will be available will be advised in due course.
Once you have made your application, you must report to your catchment school during the week 14th to 18th January, with the following documents:
- Your child’s birth certificate
- Your current Council Tax Statement
- A recent mortgage statement or tenancy agreement
- Child Benefit Statement, if you receive this, or a recent utility bill, bank statement (showing transactions in the last 3 months) or a driving licence
- Your child’s Roman Catholic Baptismal certificate, if you have one
Placing request applications must also be made online.
