Saltire Awards 2018

Project Scotland are carrying out a piece of evaluation work and are looking to get as many young people’s voices about the awards to shape their future.

Project Scotland are looking for young people, aged 12-25, keen to lend their voice to the discussion on how we can further enhance the Saltire Awards – Scotland’s national recognition programme for youth volunteering.

If you have previously completed the award then please complete the survey.

S6 Saltire Awards

A number of S6 pupils have successfully achieved Saltire Awards for a number of volunteering activities undertaken over the course of the year, both inside MCHS and beyond. Individual Awards are now ready for collection within the school office.

“Saltire Awards is the Scottish Governments national youth volunteer awards. They celebrate, recognise and reward the commitment, contribution and achievements of young volunteers in Scotland, aged between 12 and 25.

Young people gain nationally recognised certificates, signed by Scottish Government Ministers, for the different amounts of volunteering they do.

Saltire Awards helps young volunteers to reflect on, capture and communicate their learning and development gained through their volunteering.”

Many thanks

Mr. Hale (DHT)
