Friday 9th December – School to re-open
At present it is expected that schools in East Renfrewshire Council will open as normal tomorrow – Friday 9th December.
However please refer to the East Renfrewshire Council website for the latest information.
Revision Materials – GLOW
This is a reminder to pupils, especially S4-S6 pupils, that there are revision materials on GLOW to help with studying at home.
Creative Star
The Creative Star Art Exhibition which was due to take place tonight has been postponed. Full details of when it will be re-scheduled will be posted here.
Mearns Castle Closed Today
Following advice from the Scottish Government, Police and East Renfrewshire Council, Mearns Castle High, along with all schools in East Renfrewshire will be closed today. This is due to the expected high winds.
All pupils and staff should reman at home.
Any S4 pupil who had prelims scheduled for today will have them re-scheduled.
Severe Weather Closure Arrangements
Mr Smith has sent a letter home to parents detailing the arrangements for closing the school as a consequence of severe weather.

Scottish Concert Band Festival
Congratulations to The Senior Concert Band who achieved a Silver Plus award at the Scottish Concert Band Festival on Sunday 4th December.
Our pictures show Moray West accepting the award and the Senior Concert Band after their performance. Well done everyone!
