Well done to our S1 Boys, S1 Girls and Senior Boys Volleyball teams. Last week our S1 teams both qualified for the Scottish Cup Semi Finals by beating Stewarton Academy and Grange Academy respectively. Both teams have drawn Stonelaw High School in the semis which will be a very competitive match.
Additionally, our senior boys team have made it through to the Scottish Cup Final. This is a major achievement and will be playing at Coatbridge High School on Thursday 14th March. Our opponents will either be Mearns Academy from Aberdeen or Belmont Academy from Ayr.
Well done everyone involved.
The library and English Dept will be celebrating World Book Day on Wed 6 March during P5 and P6 with S1 pupils in the annual Fancy Dress and Inter-house Big Book Quiz.
All S1 pupils should start thinking about what book or film/TV characters they are going to dress up as this year. Lots of staff will also be dressing up and Miss McEachern will be issuing a letter to all S1 pupils about the event this week.
It is International School Meals next week and there will be different meals on throughout the week – posters will be on display and on Thursday next there will be a special emphasis on reducing waste within the school.
The club meets every Thursday lunch time in F2. Bridge is a fun card game played in pairs, and if you’ve never played before this is your chance to learn!
Bring your lunch I’ll bring the cards and cakes
