Save the Children Philippines Typhoon Appeal
On Monday 16th December Mearns Castle High School will take part in its very own ‘Christmas Jumper Day’.
Staff and pupils are asked to make a £1 donation to wear their Christmas Jumper – you may even want to design your own. If you don’t fancy wearing a winter woolly you can accessorise yourself in a festive way for the same £1 donation.
Earn house points for the best Christmas Jumper when your class can vote in period 7.
A panel of judges will also vote for the BEST or WORST Christmas Jumper worn by a teacher.
S2 pupils are selling their homemade Christmas baking at interval and lunchtime; everyone can have Polaroid pictures taken with their mates in festive attire, and/or you can take part in Christmas Karaoke at lunchtime in the open area.
All money made will go to the Save the Children Philippines Typhoon Appeal. To book your bake sale table or if you have any questions please see Christmas Jumper Day organiser Kate Jarvie in S2.
