Ladies Night Success!

As you know, last Friday night the staff at IMFC hosted a Ladies Night event as a fundraiser for the Family Centre.

The evening was a ROARING success with everyone enjoying the stalls, dancing along to top DJ Tony’s tunes and playing an assortment of games.

Photo’s are displayed in our foyer and all raffle prizes have now gone to their rightful owner!

Feedback from the parent’s who attended has been very positive with many parents asking how soon we will be hosting another event!

The staff would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all who attended on the night, bought raffle tickets, handed in prizes and wished us well for the night.

The money is still rolling in the door as people who were unable to attend wish to make their own monetary contribution, however I am delighted to let you know that at last count the total was sitting close to a FANTASTIC

£850.00

Well done to Siobhan Barron and Zoe McNeill who planned and organised the event and thanks to all other staff for their support.

Come and help on BIG DAY DAY!

Children attending Isobel Mair Family Centre have access to a variety of outdoor spaces including the large playground with hill and forest area, pirate ship, sensory garden, outdoor atrium and adventure trail.

Children love to play and learn outdoors and the spaces we create and use can help to support children’s play in so many ways…….from helping children to be creative and expressive to helping support problem solving and risk analysis.

Our outdoor area is already really good, however…..we want it to be excellent!

For this to happen we need YOU to help!

Come along to our BIG DIG DAY on Tuesday 17th June.

Bring any unwanted seeds, bulbs, bedding plants or compost, spare fencing, unused patio slabs or gardening tools.

OR…..

Just bring yourself!

The more the merrier…..remember, this is your children’s play space!

Let’s make it the best it can be.

Upcoming Enterprise Event

The Children have been working with staff over the past few weeks to discuss and plan an ‘Enterprise Event’.

As planning is responsive to ideas stemming from children’s interests the children decided to create spring pictures.

All rooms have been involved in our enterprising event and we will be displaying our art exhibition in the hall.

We do hope you will support this event by coming along on Friday 2nd May as the children are selling their spring pictures.

After the event children will be involved in the decision making of how the funds will be spent.

Teas and coffees will be available at the exhibition.

More information on return following the Easter Break!
