Diane Higgins

I am Diane. For the last 16 years I have been working with young children who require additional support. I have been with Isobel Mair Family Centre for 9 years and initially started out as Pupil Support Assistant before progressing to my current role as a Child Development Officer. My role is extremely rewarding and something I really enjoy doing. The Family centre is a warm and loving environment which promotes the rights of every child and I feel honoured to be a part of it.

Paul Morrison

Hi I am Paul, I am Child Development Officer. I have worked in Isobel Mair School since 2013 where I realised I had an unknown, unexpected interest and curiosity around the aspects of ASN. Having completed a Higher National Certificate in Childhood Practice in 2018-19, I was offered an upskilling opportunity by East Renfrewshire Council to become a Child Development Officer. This truly sparked my interest in Childhood Development, Early Years Education and Child Care. Working at Isobel Mair Family Centre has allowed me to combine my experience, learning and training to support and empower our young children through high quality experiences and care.

 

Rebecca Carr

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am a Child Development Officer in Isobel Mair Family Centre. I have been a part of the Isobel Mair Family Centre since 2019. After spending some time in various Early Years establishments, I soon discovered my interest and passion for working with children with additional support needs. 

 

Colette Graham

Hi, I’m Colette and I have been at Isobel Mair Family Centre since 2013. I gained my SVQ Level 3 in Early Learning and Childcare in 2015 through a modern apprenticeship with East Renfrewshire Council where  my placement was with IMFC. I have always had a passion for working with children with additional support needs and gained my permanent Child Development Officer post in January of 2016 and retained my position as the family centre transitioned in 2019. I have recently studied and received my BA in Childhood Practice from the University of Glasgow in June 2021.
