SupERkids Silent Disco

Message from Nicola Kelly SupERkids

Charity Status Achieved……….

As a thank you to everyone (past or present) child, parent, support worker, funder, fund raiser, supplier and everyone else to numerous to name, who has helped us get this far, we are hosting a silent disco party from 7.00 to 11pm on Friday 15th November at Carmichael Hall (the hall beside Eastwood Theatre).

I attach an invitation for you and your family and I hope you can come along to help us celebrate SupERkids generally and this milestone in SupERkids evolution which was granted charitable status in October.
This is a non-supported family event, so that everyone can enjoy the evening, and as such there will be no charge to attend.
We hope that you can come along to help us celebrate and if you could, let us know that you can come along and who you will be bringing along that would be great help in making sure there is enough food and drink to make the night a success.

As part of our Rights Respecting School Award we are looking at different areas across the school.

The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) Improvement Group have  recently launched our school wide Right of the Week project. The aim of the project is to ensure all stakeholders within the school are familiar with the Rights of the Child. As we work towards our Bronze and Silver Awards, we are promoting participation from everyone in the school.

The Right of the Week this week is

Prom 2018

Thank You to everyone who came to the IMS prom last night.

An amazing night to celebrate the young people from IMS as they move in to the senior phase and also out into the wider community as they start college placements.

Great tunes from the DJ and looking forward to updating our disco equipment after the holidays, wonderful suggestion from our Head Boy and Girl.
