Please support the Parent Council who are holding a Ceilidh on Friday 7th September at GHA RugbyClub, Giffnock.
This event is to help raise funds for the school and family centre.
Tickets are still available for this event priced at £10 each.
However as numbers are low the evening might have to be cancelled.

The Parent Council AGM for the school and Family Centre will take place tomorrow evening at 7pm.

New Term
Hope everyone had a great summer.
School will reopen tomorrow at 9am.
We look forward to welcoming all our pupils back and we send an extended welcome to all our new pupils starting in the primary and secondary departments.
Breakfast club and extended school day restarts tomorrow with same arrangements.
Jump aboard the NDCS Listening Bus

The NDCS Listening Bus travels the UK bringing technology, NDCS information and services to deaf children, their families and the professionals working with them.
The NDCS Listening Bus will be visiting IMS on Wednesday 28th August.

You are welcome to come along and buy/ order uniform for next term. The brand of the polo and sweatshirts remain the same, so sizing is as before.

Autism Friendly Performance of The Lion King

This year the Edinburgh Playhouse are showing an Autsim Friendly performance of the Lion King on 24 November 2013, in association with the National Autistic Society.
A social story is available for download to support the young person with Autism.

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Zumbathon today.
Our Zumba Instructor Susan, (Mrs Kidd’s sister) took 3 classes with the pupils this morning and they all had great fun, getting fit and having fun at the same time!
This afternoon it was the turn of the parents…………….
They were put through their paces and all took part enthusiastically, even during some of the more intricate moves!
Many thanks to everyone who turned up for the event and help support Amy get closer to her fundraising target for her rhythmic gymnastics.
We will update you tomorrow how much was raised.

Coffee and Chat will take place on Thursday 7th March at 10am for parents and carers.
Staff from Cosgrove and ACES will be available to chat and answer any question you may have.
Zumbathon @ IMS
Get Fit with Zumbathon @ IMS
We are holding a Zumbathon on Thursday 21st March.
We would like to invite pupils, staff and parents to donate £1.00 and join us to help raise some more money to enable one of our pupils Amy Clark to compete in the Special Olympics with her rhythmic gymnastic team.
Every competitor has to raise their own funds to support the travel and accomodation cost at these events.
Pupils will participate in ZumbAtomic in the morning.
Parents will be given a full and sweaty workout 1.30pm-2.00pm.
Staff will be put through their paces 3.15pm-3.45pm.
Please join us in what is to be a great day for a great cause. Please complete the form sent home with your child if you wish to join us for some fun and help a good cause..
