Some of our senior pupils attended a West of Scotland Employment Conference yesterday. They found this an enjoyable and informative day and made IMS so proud of them with their positive attitudes and exemplary behaviour.

Jammie Day Assembly

Amy would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for taking part and help her with her fundraising quest to allow her to attend the Special Olympics GB National Games in Sheffield this summer.
Head Boy Girl Ceremony
Congratulations to Marc Wilson and Rob Kenwell who attended the Head Boy/Girl awards at Eastwood House this morning and received their award from ERC and Mrs Shaw, Director of Education.
They have been great ambassadors, representing the school and fulfilling their duties.

The Hungry Caterpillar

We have raised just over £800 for Red Nose Day.
Senior pupils have still to complete a sponsored walk and the total will be updated with sponsorship money.
Thank you to everyone for all their kind donations for the baking stall and all the money for the sensory activities, pie the management etc.
A huge thank you to the senior pupils and staff for all their hard work in organising this years event, I’m sure you will agree it was a huge success.
AAC Communication Club
The AAC Communication Club will take place this Thursday, 30th March at 6:15 – 8:15pm.
For one week only, the club will take place in the Cara playroom in the Family Centre due to maintenance work taking place in school.
Easter activities and “A Squash and a Squeeze ” story book will be the theme for this week.
Support our Special Olympian
Earth Hour
All classes have been set a challenge for Earth Hour today from 10:30 – 11:30am.
This is a perfect opportunity for some outdoor learning.
Staff will monitor the usage before and after and see what difference what we can make.
Holidays
Reminder that school closes on Friday 31st March at 2:30pm for Spring Break.
There will be no extended school day.

Red Nose Day Fun
Well done to all our senior pupils, especially Woodfarm students who organised a very successful Red Nose Day.
We had sensory activities, cake sale, raffle and pie the management which was the favourite activity.
Thank you to everyone who donated cakes for the cake sale.
We will let you know how much was raised on Monday.

Senior pupils have been busy making cakes for the Red Nose Day cake sale tomorrow.
Remember to bring money to buy some of the delicious home baking to raise funds for a very worthy cause.
Thank you to Marc’s aunt who very kindly made and donated this delicious Red Nose Day cake to be raffled. Tickets available from the school office at £1 per strip.
