This afternoon we were joined by pupils from St Cadoc’s for the Community Unity Peace March as part of our Rights Respecting Schools.
Both groups sang songs representing the rights of the child before they joined the rest of the school on the peace march.
Thank you to everyone who came to AAC@IMS communication club last night.

Communication and Social Interaction Right now – 25th May 2016
We are all supporting “Wig Wednesday” to support Clic Sargent to raise awareness and help young children with cancer.
Thank you to everyone for all their donations, we raised £115 for CLIC Sargent.

Reminder that school is closed Friday 27th, Monday 30th May for bank holiday and Tuesday 31st May for staff INSET training.
School reopens Wednesday 1st June.

You can even nominate a teacher or the Head Teacher to wear a wig for the day and make a donation. Don’t forget to bring your nominee a wig to wear – the wiggier the better!

Good luck to some of our senior pupils, heading off to Style Academy based down at Crookfur.
Pupils will have the opportunity to learn about hair and beauty techniques as part of the programme, and then transfer skills back at school as part of their Health and Wellbeing activities and skills for life long learning.

Have a look at the short video highlighting the amazing experience that the pupils in classes Cumbrae and Arran had recently.
They were part of a group experiencing dance to movement through this Aerial experience with “EveryBODY Dancin” company
and Water Baby and Dancing Feet dance companies.
This amazing experience was made possible through Awards for all Lottery funding.
IMS Parent Council are looking for donations for the Summer Fayre to help raise funds for the school.
Bottles for the bottle stall w/c 30th May up to 11th June.
Home baking ( from Friday 10th till Saturday 11th June.
We need to raise money for the extra curricula activities taking place at school. We would really appreciate your support with donations, attendance at the Fayre and buying raffle tickets, in order to make this a great success .

We will certainly have some great learning and fun experiences with these Lego packs.
