Class Bute / Staffa Assembly
Well done to all the pupils from classes Bute and Staffa for
an excellent assembly.
The classes told the story of “The Fairy Flag of the Macleods”.
Both classes worked together on the story and then came together to perform their interactive story at the primary assembly.

SQA Moderation
On Tuesday afternoon pupils from class Yell who have been working towards their SQA English National 3 module, were visited by an SQA moderator, she was happy with the students work.

Careers Fair
We are hosting our Careers Fair on Tuesday the 15th of March from 10am-12pm.
All of our secondary pupils will be invited and we look forward to welcoming lots of people from the local community into school to talk to the pupils about jobs and careers in different companies and services.

Come join Brian Smith our Music Therapist at the ASD Parents’ Forum on Monday 7th March, 6.30pm – 8.00pm.
He will share information and experiences and then there will be the opportunity for coffee and chat afterwards.

Rollerstop is delighted to announce that in conjunction with Don’t Stop Me Now Scotland CIC, they will be hosting a trial autism friendly roller disco.

World Autism Awareness Week
mAIRWaves have posted a new recording
Listen as classes Whalsay and Tiree discuss Scottish Inventors.
As part of the lesson plan, pupils had to create their own invention, have a look at Toby’s inventions.
He wrote about his invention and then drew a plan. I’m sure a few of our pupils would like this idea to be patented.
Community Partnership
On Monday February 8th classes Shetland and Orkney are visiting Crookfur homes.
They will sing and recite poetry from Burns day.
