Community Matters at Waitrose

We are delighted to be accepted as the Waitrose “Community matters” donation this month.

So please take every opportunity to drop your wee green tokens in the bucket for IMS. This will allow us to buy some summer science equipment for our outdoors learning areas.

Highlights of the day:

  • The event will be formally opened by Provost Carmichael.
  • Other opening speakers include: Mhairi Shaw, Director of Education and Lisa McKenzie, Children and Families Service Manager.
  • Keynote speaker, the inspirational Dr Suzanne Zeedyk, will be talking about connection, communication and the importance of laughter.

Understanding Children’s Behaviour Parent Workshops

Are you interested in attending workshops on Understanding Children’s Behaviour?

The workshops will take place on Wednesday Evenings 13, 20, 27 May and 3 June 2015 from  7 – 9pm.

The venue is Barrhead High School, Aurs Road, Barrhead G78 2SJ

The workshops are suitable for pre-school, primary, secondary aged children, Autism/Asperger’s and Dads groups.

Workbooks will be available for £6.50 on the first night
