Chinese New Year assembly and Open Morning

Primary 4.20 had a fantastic time this week performing their assembly and hosting their open morning for the adults.

It was a great morning with the children showcasing all they had been learning about Chinese New Year. The stations included expressive arts with the children teaching the adults how to make paper dragons and lanterns. A technologies station featuring all the PowerPoints the children had made. A station linked to health and well-being focused on Chinese tea tasting. Another station featuring posters the children had made and lastly a station on mandarin writing which links to our one plus two programme.

The showcase was all child planned and led by the pupils. It was fantastic to see so many adults attending and lots of learning and parental engagement was involved

!

A huge thanks to everyone who attended it was a great day and big achievement for primary 4.20!
